Round Zarzo Basket
​
Come and learn how to make this round Zarzo basket. Traditionally this was a Spanish tray design used for straining cheese. You will learn how to lay out the willow, weave and finish off the basket with different handle wraps.
​

Come and make a small simple stake and strand basket to use for collecting berries, eggs or whatever you fancy! Use various willow varieties and foraged materials to make it unique.
A perfect basket for first timers.

Asymmetric Basket
​
Spend a day making this contemporary basket suitable for foraging, egg collecting and more! You will learn how to make a base, stake up and weave up the sides of the basket. Your basket will be finished with the unique asymmetric border and a wooden handle.

Suitable for Intermediate makers.
​
Make a larger basket over 2 days - work on your own project or replicate one of my makes. In 2 days you could make a kindling / log basket, a larger asymmetric basket or a shopping basket.

Handbag Basket with Leather handles
​
Willow handbag basket - Come and make this contemporary catalan based oval basket and finish your work with leather handles. Use a variety of willows to make this basket unique to you.

Tulip Asymmetric Basket
​
Suitable for Intermediate makers

Make this contemporary, curvy asymmetric basket with a double or triple zig zag weave. You must have made baskets independently before and be able to bring a dry base with you on the day.

Willow Sculpture - Chickens or Pheasant
​
You can choose to make either a willow chicken or pheasant to adorn your house or garden.
You will be shown how to use the willow to sculpt different shapes in order to make your bird.

Come and make a funky kindling storage tube and willow heart for your home. Use an array of willow varieties that are available at the time.

Mixed Willow Christmas Workshop

You choose your project - choose from a tree skirt (all day), 3d standing random woven tree (half day) and a whole host of stars, reindeers and decorations for your home (projects range from 1 hour to half a day). Please advise at time of booking which project/s you would be interested in.
